I've done almost all my mods with the help of friends. Or I just take it to a good friend of mine who is also a mechanic. My advice is to start small and build your way up to the bigger mods. That is what I am doing.

If your coolant is low you can put water in. I did a coolant flush for my 30k tuneup and bought coolant from Mazda. You just mix it as the bottle says. My meachanic suggested I use OEM coolant because with newer cars there can be probs with using different coolant. I don't know if this is a prob...

I completly agree about dropzone and the stiffness. I am running 17s and have no probs. I will be upgrading to tein springs once I have money.

The only long trip I have been on, I had the same prob. It was on a 8 hour trip and my A/C was not cold at all after a few hours.

If you get an eBay SRI you will most likely have to cut the pipe maybe a 1/4 of an inch. EBay intakes tend the rub on the master cylinder. Other than that there is no prob with an offbrand intake. All you really pay for is the name. My eBay intake has a round filter not the cone. It is similar...

I had the same problem the only way I got it to go away was, I went back to Mazda and they force balanced my tires. This balance is done at higher speeds with the tires on so it is more accurate. Other shops can do it also. You just have to check around. At Mazda it cost me $80.

We still can't have the bottle rockets or any of the fun ones. But at least its a start. And I agree we can't tint our windows dark but we can handle explosives. Seems a little backward to me. LOL

I looked at the intake and the first piece of pipe is sitting right beside the brake fluid bottle and master brake cylinder. I will get my boyfriend to cut it and see if that fixes it. Thank you for tthe advice.
