Well the damn springs were only sitting in my living room for 4 1/2 months. I finally got someone to help. He pretty much did all of it (hubbys friend) and I helped when I could but the job required lots of muscle power which I don't have a lot of lol. The brand of springs is goldline and the ride isn't all that bad. I'll be getting the alignment done next week along with a long over due oil change. I know my car is in desparate need of a bath but do enjoy. I also included a pic of the billet grill after I re-adjusted it to line up better with the hood. Here's the pics...

Nice job! Do not drive it too far without an alligment. The tires will wear pretty quickly if it is off.

a nice set of 18s would look great now that you dropped it! I always thought that our cars seem a bit high but then i asked my buddy and he said that in the snow its better when its higher. i still would like to lower mine a bit.

Yep 205/55/16 to be exact. I like them but I wish they were the same height as the stock tires. I got a really good deal on the rims with tires from someone on this forum though (TheJonny) so I can't complain. Yeah I have to wait until next week cause that's when I get paid. I might someday go with 17's, just to be safe.

I LOVE YOUR CAR!! the billet grill is awesome, total BLING FACTOR! is it custom? where did you get it, I'm all over that! do you have mirror tints or is it just from the way the picture was taken? ooh that's hot HOT HOT HOT!!

yes, change your oil, your car will love you for it.

Got the grill from mrgrille.com. It was reasonably priced.I think it was around 125 after shipping and handling was added. And the tint is called platinum. It's about the closest the state of virginia gets to a mirror still and still be legal. At least that's the impression I got from the guys from tnt.

wow the cars site very nicely, i also like the grill, i might have to do the same, did you do it urself?

Yep it's easy to install. It was taking the stock upper grill out that seemed a bit of a pain. The billet grill is secured with the magic of zip ties lol.

ohhh, that car is sexy...

by any chance are you selling the stock grill? :)

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice!! thanks for the link!!

Pixy zoom I do still have the upper grill. It's not perfect due to the fact that it was a bit stubborn coming off. So there might be a couple of tabs that broke. Plus I painted the upper grill strip purple lol. So if you're still interested I can take some pictures for you.
And maybe next tax time I can get some 17's. I would definitely like to get some nice new rotors installed. And new calipers.
I'm getting some money for the stock rims so that's going toward some kind of performance mod like an intake or headers or something of that nature. I can't wait! Been a damn while since I've ordered anything for my lil car.

grills

Pancake,

would you be willing to sell your stock grills (upper and lower). if so, for how much?

Hmm I just went to mrgrille.com and they have the grill I ordered for 117.00 plus they have a new grill set that's polished. That one is a little higher in price. You have to add the 'e' at the end of mrgrille. I may have not included that earlier. It's cheaper than going to protege5online and buying one. Although if I had the extra money I probably would have purchased from there because the precision billet is really nice looking imo. But I like the grill I'm using now. I do still have the upper stock grill but I painted the upper removeable portion purple to match my motif.
