You are right about colder air being better; however, A CAI will NOT get colder air to the engine. The turbo is going to heat up any cold air you get to an amazingly hot temp. Just look at your turbo at night after you boost (glowing red turbo). If you want colder air try a good FMIC or a C02...

Does the MSP have an exhaust manifold that flows directly to the turbine inlet or does the manifold connect to the turbine through a single pipe (an uppipe or something like that). Also how many Cats are in the exhaust sys?
