heh .. well i called that number, got the whole speach about no such thing as production number, but i was real nice to the lady and sweet talked my way into getting her to do more digging for me. was trying to call another guy there that might know, but he's off on lunch so i have to wait...

um, ok thats odd. i know i didn't call a different number. i just gave them my vin #. the guy found on his own that it was a canadian car. apparently we can't just go by the vin # .. something about our vin's being mixed up in the regular protege #s i found this number on the canadian mazda...

you would be right 800.222.5500 is the number i called. option 5 is still for the mazdaspeed. after getting zoomzoom'ed out (waiting on hold for abit listening to that song over and over again), tell the person on the phone that its a canadian car and year, they should be able to help you out...

i think i found this site during my net search for problems with the msp. i think i just did a google search for mazdaspeed and it was one of the hits. great place to get tons of info on the car, just awesome!

if mazda won't replace the piping to aluminum, how much would it cost us the enduser to replace them ?

the supplement to the owners manual (in canada at least) says to put 91 or better. i'm using 92!

this rebate for the us only or does it apply to canada also ? i just picked up my speed a week ago, i never heard anything about a rebate.

i just picked up my 2003 mazdaspeed this past saturday, nothing wrong with the hard, half done with the break-in. this car is sooooo sweet. i love it. my end decision was the rsx-s and the mazdaspeed. i'm glad i went with the speed.
