As long as it dosent leak at six ponds or less it should be fine. Average human lung generated preasure is something like 10-16PSI so a slow leak at your maximum preasure is *probably* ok. If the WGA leaks at six pounds or less it cant open the wastegate when it should and it needs to be replaced.

Check all of your vacume lines and waste gate actuator. You can test the WGA by blowing into the vacume line which it is connected to - if you can blow air throguh the WGA its no good. Replacement WGA: HERE WGA How-To WGA tips and tricks

Pfffffft - the stumble at idle turned out to be a broken vac line - so the final tip is check your lines :)
