    Free Intake Mod

A better option would be to leave the stock air intake plumbing which is tuned to increase low to mid range torque, and drill several holes in the top part of the grill in front of the stock air intake opening so it can get colder air. I did this on my car after trying some of the things you...

    Great Turbo on my MP5

What sort of price range are we talking? The kit looks great, but I've never heard of them before. The FM and Spool kits have lots of people on this board who swear by them. If the price is reasonable I might be interested. They don't list a price on their site.

    Mazda Tuning Shops

Acidbbg, do you have any pics of your setup? I hope to be spraying soon too and am curious as to how your kit is done. I've got an extra intake and was wondering if it would be worth the trouble to drill and tap the ind. runners for fogger nozzles. I know it would be easier to just run one in...

Thanks for the compliments folks, just tellin' the truth. (That's why I married her, well, there are a few other reasons...lol) Yeah, she wanted to stop by the mazda dealer on the way home and now she's hooked on this lazer blue LX sedan she saw.

    Seat Mods?

I was wondering if anyone might have thought about this one yet. I'm going to be getting a set of seats out of a late 80's RX-7 conv. soon and might put them in my 2002 Pro. DX. They're black leather with great thigh and lateral support and they've got the speakers built into the headrests...

    1320's coming soon....

Actually, if you want to start out light with the Protege, start with the DX. Base model DX is the lightest stock Protege. Or you could do what my bro and I are considering, FE3T in a first gen RX-7. It's not hard to get the first gen. under 2000 lbs.

    ******* Oil Filter...HELP!

You guys might want to check out this oil filter "wrench" that Bluepoint, (Snap-On), sells. It's got three "fingers" that come off of it and works with a 3/8" ratchet or 3/4" wrench. The more torque you apply to turn it the tighter it digs in to the filter. Has worked for me on everything from...

    Two questions....

First, does anyone know if it's possible to fit 15x8's or 16x8's under a 2002 Protege sedan? Second, does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes anything in this size with the 4x100mm bolt pattern? I want to lower my car 1 to 1.5 inches and stuff as wide of a rim and tire under it as possible...
