Thanks all for the positive comments. This instal has been a looong time in the coming together. First there was Plan A, then B until were were running out of letters. But having done quite a lot with this car, I think it is the best thing I (or we in this case) have done. Nearly ready to show...

Looking at those drawings I would seriously look at filleting those corners where the port goes around 180 deg etc. By which....kinda small triangles from top to bottom in the corners so that the dimension diagonally in the corners is the same as the width of the port. Will promote smoother air...

Godayum I'm pleased with this. He won't read this but a MASSIVE "onya" to my mate pottsie who did the real work on this (he's a cabinet maker by trade).
