Completely depends on the box... how big is it, ported or sealed, tuned to what frequency, etc. Also depends on how hot it is outside, whether you have dynamat and how much, where the box is aimed in the car. It's virtually impossible to tell without measuring it.

Snow tires make all the difference, I had them mounted on my stock 15s and barely had problems. As long as you are careful you'll be fine. I have the Eibach pro kit, no issues at all.

I think jurgs explained it pretty well... each has its own advantages. Everyone has a different idea which is "best"... if you've got one, try the other and see which you like better.

Nah, I'm looking for more basic stuff: an analog clock, a digital indoor/outdoor thermometer, and a digital voltmeter. Digital in blue, all with silver rings around them. I'm very picky, if I can't find them I'll make them. And I have plenty of time.

Yes, but probably not that much hotter than it would in the cabin... my car sits in a hot parking lot all day with the windows rolled up, so I really don't think it would make much difference.
