I'm toying with putting a trailer hitch on my MSP to be used for a bike rack. I don't want to put a rack on top of the car or off the trunk (i'm sure the spoiler would make this impossible anyway), and was wondering if anyone else has done, or was thinking of doing, the same thing.

i was wondering if anyone one was considering painting the break calipers a different color. personally, i think red would look pretty sweet on the black msp

I've found that if you use foul language and threaten to replace it with a model from radio shack, it'll start working again.

for what its worth, we're having crap weather here in wisconsin. although, spring here is always chaos at best.

Personally, I like the fact that I've been driving around for 3 weeks and haven't seen 1 other MSP.

O.K., For the record, I haven't noticed any performance issues at all. And the "sputtering" noise, only seems to show up when the turbo kicks in. This being my first Turbo car I'm stilll getting used to the "normal" sounds. :)

I've begun to notice a sputtering noise when I let off the accelerator during moterate to heavy acceleration over 3,000rpms. At first I thought it was the clutch making the noise then I tried just letting off the gas without engaging the clucth, and the noise was the same. Just wondering if...

I had the dealer check and they said they don't have them for the MSP. Didn't say they would never have them, just that they don't make 'em yet.

I'd have to check the paper work. But I think it was around $1200

I actually talked my dealer into giving me bumper plugs when I picked up the car.

Got the 7year/100,000mile. I put about 20k a year on so it was worth it for me.

My first post here. I picked up my car 2 days ago and have put about 120miles on it so far. I don't have "the clunk" as of yet. However, when it does come, and I feel certain that it will, I plan on printing out this entire thead and handing it to the mazdaspeed mechanic when I go in to get it...
