Anyone have post-warranty luck on CX-5 folding mirror problems?

Good point yrwei52. I've driven many, many brands of cars oer 40 years without automatic "folding mirrors". Maybe I'll just disable the function and it will be one less thing to go wrong.

Anyone have post-warranty luck on CX-5 folding mirror problems?

Curvesahead…I tried it and it and it actually worked. Fingers crossed it will stay fixed. Thanks very much for the suggestion!

Anyone have post-warranty luck on CX-5 folding mirror problems?

So my third 2019 Signature folding mirrors aren’t folding all the way. I’m obviously well beyond the three year warranty so really unhappy. I found a couple of Mazda TSBs about this on another thread and wondered if anyone had managed to get Mazda to pay for new mirrors? So otherwise I’ll just...

Has LKAS gotten better in recent years?

I had a 2022 Honda Civic (cheapest trim) as a loaner today and was really impressed with how well the Lane Keep Assist worked. Puts my 2019 Signature to shame. Just wondering if Mazda improved this and any other safety features recently?

Anyone try Michelin Pilot Sport tires?

I was actually thinking of the Pilot Sport all-season. I would still switch to my Nokian winter tires though for the worst months.

Anyone try Michelin Pilot Sport tires?

Next summer I’ll need new summer tires (or sporty all-seasons). I wondered if the Michelin Pilot Sport would be a good complement to the handling of my 2019 Signature?

    2023 CX-5 Differences?

Hi everyone. So far the only change I have seen reported for '23 is the new shade of white paint. Anyone seen anything more substantial?

    2022 CX-5 Improvements

When the 2022 was released, Mazda played up the mechanical improvements as well as the styling tweaks. Things like a more responsive 6-speed transmission, better NVH, suspension tweaks, better seats etc. I haven’t read or seen a review touting these things. Anyone here upgrade from eg a...

New 2022 CX-5 Turbo deep metallic blue owner

Looks great. Are the bumper and wheel trims “piano black”? Just wonder if they’ll attract scratches?

    Glove box light

It only comes on when there’s less daylight. When I first got it I thought something was wrong because I had a couple of previous cars where the light came on as soon as you opened the box.

    Thinking about 2022 CX-5 Turbo

Keep the CX-5 in North America to be more precise. The CX-50 isn't going to be imported into Japan, Australia, Singapore etc.

    Mazda CX-50 announced

Thanks…I read it too quickly and missed the lame sarcasm. My point obviously is that in a normal economy, you’d have some experience on your CV but they’re waiving that.

    Mazda CX-50 announced

No they don’t. I saw the local manager offering it…think they’re pretty hungry for employees. True in other job sectors too of course.

They would also like to hire 1000 more workers for the line. They've offered free training.

    Thinking about 2022 CX-5 Turbo

The US and Canada is the biggest CX-5 market but the CX-5 is a strong seller and significant in Japan, Australia, SE Asia, Europe and the UK. The CX-50 won’t be going to any of them so I don’t see the CX-5 being discontinued. Whether the next generation will be available here is another question.

    Thinking about 2022 CX-5 Turbo

I think you may be right about the CX-5 phasing out in North America after 2023. But the CX-50 is only for NA. There are smaller international versions already announced of the next Mazda CUV’s. CX-70 = CX-60 and CX-90 = CX-80. But I don’t think there’s a CX-5 replacement for the rest of the...

    2017~2025 36 month service question

Thanks...they were really good at purchase time and my initial services but full change of management in the last year...I can really see the diference. Time for me to move on.
