I've got the SR-8000 Marantz It freaken rocks man, you can turn it up when you have nothing playing and it is quiet as a mouse. The signal to noise ratio is virtually 0%. No distortion what so ever. You can't get more warmth unless you go with a tube amp.

I ordered mine from Rosenthal, and installed it on my 2001 Protege Sedan ES. I have a TWM short shifter. It is heavier then the stock knob. Looks and feels better. Shifts better also.

Get a 2001-2003 Protege Sedan ES. Replace the springs so it sits nice. Get new rims and tires, use the stock rims for winter driving with some snow tires. Replace the nose with a MP3 nose, and get the side skirts and rear skirt. Get a racing beat exhaust. You can even get a front strut tower...
