if you plan on upping the boost a less restrictive exhaust and an fmic are both really good ideas... ohh and a boost gauge too.

thanks turf burn, i have no problem shelling out the extra 7 bucks for the iridium...

oh, and i dont know how true this was but i read somewhere that it was about a 10 hp increase with every pound that you up the boost, and that it would be higher than 10 hp per pound if you had other mods(fmic, downpipe, exhaust, etc...)

yeah, unless you know exactally what you need it is going to be much high than 500. i got quoted at $1100 for a full custom fmic with pipes and a greddy type s bov.

i think that it should be fine, i mean they only thing that they visually check out is to see if there is a cat where it should be under the car. and i got rid of my pre-cat and it did make a difference.
