Cheap Carbon Fiber Hood

You get what you pay for. When you pay that little money for a thing such as a carbon fiber hood, you often get a lesser product. The fiber usually has flaws and they'll use an inferior coating substance (or no clear coat at all). What you get is a flimsy, often poor-fitting hood that will turn yellow and start cracking after a year or two.

While this isn't ALWAYS the case, it often is. Remember, if a deal sounds too good to be true, it often is. Especially when the person seemingly comes out of nowhere with no one around to give any positive feedback on their work.
