If you do decide not to upsize diameter wise, you might want to run aftermarket so that you can go with a wider wheel. This will allow wider tires in the future. Make sure to adjust the wheel offset accordingly to recenter the wheel in the wheel well. If the factory has the wheel location...

Did you get a four wheel alignment? Make sure you compare it to the recommended. I had the dealer recheck it under warrenty with only 5k on it and they said it was out. So my guess is, it came this way right off the boat. With about 12k all is still fine.

Thanks to this thread, I had our 2009's alignment checked. They did it under warranty. According to the dealer it was out, but we picked it up late, so they couldn't provided the before and after specs. Considering it only has 5k miles on it, I would guess it's always been off.

At first I would've thought to be the reason as well, but the poster says: "I refuse to buy directional tires for a mini van. We're not out autocrossing." So, it seems the reason is not for handling. So I wanted to know why the poster preferrred them.

Curious... why?

Just fyi, I had a wheel off yesterday and the stock rims on my touring are 17x6.5 with 52.5mm offset.
