yes.. i put led washer nozzels on.. grrrrrrrr... BUT I HAD NO CHOICE!!!!!!!

if you see this thread http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66895

i got a CF hood but i couldnt get the stock nozzels to stay on, I EVEN GLUED IT, but the holes are like twice the size of the clips, so i went to canadian tire, walmart, you name it no one had bolt on stock looking nozzels so i got tired and went back to walmart cuz the led nozzels had bolts, the old lady cashier even gave me a bad look LOL anywho... pics...

not really a "HOW TOO" but this is what i did to make it less rice... if that makes sense.. ????

1) put a hole in box to fit nozzels in for painting
2) mask off the clear LED part
3) cut the masking tape to only cover LED
4) prime and paint black (same primer and paint used for headlight mod)
5) attach to car

the way i wired it, i cannot turn it on unless i open the hood and flick a switch in the engine bay, the 2 washer LED's are wired to 8 other LED's in the engine bay (show purposes only)

EDIT: these washer nozzels were only 10 bux, and the stuff it comes with is actually not ghetto at all, even comes with teflon tape!!!

It would have been better to cut the damn wires off and paint the whole thing ;)

At least its for "show use only" ... id hate to see you driving with them on.

There's no chance in hell he's gonna leave them off while driving. Trust me, I know him ;) LOL jk jk.

man i remember when those first came out. when nobody had them. i had a pair on my 4runner. now, i'm glad they broke on me :p. but blue leds look cool. i suppose there's an inner ricer in me somewhere!

just hope the paint is on for good... if it starts flaking, then you'll be a real ricer! LOL

Well, in the winter when they break off (Plasitc threaded part and a METAL nut = REAL good combination) then you'll be back to square one. But for now, might I offer you some Ginger Beef with that RICE!!! LOL!

Looks nice, I will admit I had some LED washers on my car for a month or two when I first got it. Good thing one of them randomly broke, and I put my stock ones back on.
