if you lift up the hood and look down to the area behind the top grill, there is a black piece of plastic there which makes a flat tray between the metal frame and the plastic grill piece. ok now if you look at the position of the stock air intake and imagine when the hood is closed down.... there doesn't seem to be much place for air to come into the intake besides from coming up from the bottom of the engine bay and then looping back around to the front.
so my question is has anyone drilled holes into the plastic tray thing to make air flow more directly to the stock air intake from the front top grill area?
or has this been asked a million times already?
