Its not fair... BUT ill be upgrading most of the parts to make my 6
close to this JDM atenza (the real deal) perhaps the mazdaspeed ver.
hooo.. so many possibility! well enjoy the catalog!

Why didn't we get those fog lights??? Ours are "integrated" into the same area as our headlights, but I think they look much cooler down where they should be. I wonder if our cars are wired to install fog lights down there. (uhm)

You could've gotten those fog lights, but you chose the Sport Package...

actually there are connectors there in the fenders riht behind where the resonator was....

Right, on the non sports package versions where fogs don't come stock. When you install them on the non sports they go below. Otherwise, they're included in the stock housing.

Australia 6s with sports have a fitmant that works on the facia, but I'm not sure how much it is to have shipped. Plus, I think it's illegeal to have 3 sets of lights on at onces.

as fot integrated...it's a hassle...unless you go custom with the actual fog housing being the only oem part.housing is 51-680bor 51-680c screws are 51-135 bulb is 51-686 and I have to se what the brown wire and grey with yellow tracer wire runs to before I can start my own custom setup since i totally despise the accesory set. and yep illegal but you see it everyday with like suvs with 4 set and never use headlights (poke)

taillight covers around $200?!

those are some sweet looking taillight covers
gives a very identical look with the Mazdaspeed 6/Atenza
i know somebody can duplicate those easily (vtech..!!) n sell around $30~50
anybody know any company selling them??

those are actual assemblys...but yeah covers could be made to look like it....all you need to do is either get black vynal and someone who has a clue or just use a flashlight and elect tape to make covers for the clear brake turn and reverse circles and pant the rest black...and remove the tape with a smile...I wish we had those version cause of the damn reflector crap we have the ones in the bumper below why can't we fab some for the sides at the same level as the rear reflectors....that would alow us to Legally run the euro spec euros right?

I want that...shift gates(?) don't match up to that pict so only ay I can do it is if i ran the manual shift boot on my manumatic... and the chrome circles for the vent on the part 2 post

Hmmm... sounds much too complicated for me. My car still feels too new to start messing around like that yet. I wonder why they would chose to integrate the fog lights with the sport package? I don't see what's "sporty" about not being able to notice fog lights on a car.... anyways, not that important of an issue I guess.

I like the integrated over assesory ones...thats why I'm gonna go custom. I don't care for the other fogs too much.

So do the 6's that have the fogs where they normally are still have 4 bulbs in the headlight assembly? I though that having more than 2 sets of driving lights is illegal (ex. high/lows/fogs or lows/two sets of fogs in this case)

integrated can be turned off but accessory only come on when headlights come on automaticly...IIRC so you can turn the integrated ones off and never use them if he hates them so much and use them when alil more light is needed but not as high as hibeam.

Just a note....The JDM sports bumper is NOT the US sports bumper. Parts between the two are NOT INTERCHANAGABLE.

The JDM sports bumper has some sort of reinforcement to hold the lower fog's in place...they just don't work on the US Spec bumper. Also note the lack of giant orange reflector on the side....

yep there is side markers just behing the drivers wheels on the fenders for the jdm kinda exactly like the Mz3's have...I wish we had the side reflectors on the back like the 3 has so the "euro spec" euros would be legal to use ...

I dont think those are actualy assemblys from everything I know they are covers where did you read they are assemblies?

it's becomes an assembly once it is the entire unit...that is an assembly because the actual cover isn't just 1 piece but sold in the unit with the housing...cover+housing=assembly.....
