Just something to ponder on.....

Glad you like my car. My tint is still my favorite thing I've done to my car because it just looks so damn good. After I get my wheels today, that might change though. I highly recommend the tint strip.

As for the emblem, I think painting it black looks best, but yellow would be interesting.

is your windshield tint the same % as the rest or is it different....also...your front emblem....what kind of paint did you use for that, any suggestions for me?

Yes, I have 20% all around & for the emblem, I think I just used Rustoleum flat black. I need to do it again because I didn't seal it last time & all the highway driving is starting to take a toll on the paint.

I like the coloured/black emblems that some people have. I have a red one on my car.
Now all I need is some nice dark tint.

pates03: I've seen it on other cars, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to deal with Johnny Law.

xxMSPxx: I have the 3M 20% too & it's da shizzle! LOL

I love it and I get so many compliments on the tint. Diffently one of my favorite things Ive done so far.

how do you take the emblem off? does it require you to remove the entire grill?
You just heat it and pry under it with something thin. There are two guide pins on each side of the emblem. Be careful of these so you dont break them.

You dont need to remove the grille but it is not hard to remove the grille and it would make the task of removing the emblem a bit easier.

Has anyone tint'ed there front windows on a MSP? I want to do mine to keep the heat out
I have a light like 50%? tint on my front window and then the dark strip at the top. I have really sensetive eyes and at night it helps me from getting headaches while driving. I haven't had any problems with it b.c it isn't dark enough for most people to notice. The rest of the car is 35% which is the legal limit here.

And I color matched my badges with touch up paint :) Hard to tell on the front pic in my sig but here is a back shot. The pic above is still the stock color badge.

well it was a huge PITA painting them with a brush and making them look good, but overall I'm happy with it. I broke one of the tabs off of the front emblem so I drove to the store to get epoxy with nothing there so it was just black and I kinda liked it. So I debated black or titanium as well, but figured if I did the front black, I would have to do the back ,and I didn't want those black.
