Yep that bright blue tape stuck out like a sore thumb On the 7th run, you were also behind the WRX that wiped out, right? Did you see what happened?

And if I recall correctly, you were on my tail quite a bit too, right? And I even think i let you pass me a few times in the earlier sessions. Good driving.

Do you guys think MSCW and MDC would mind if non-mazda drivers sign up? Or is this specifically for mazda.....since I noticed other cars were driving around the track with you guys. It'd be nice to bring some STis, 350Zs down there.

I remember coming up behind you twice after 6a. My instructor and I were laughing and agreeing with your plate

I was directly behind the wrx wagon on our last run. After the yellow flag was dropped he came out of 4 real quick and lifted in the middle of turn 5. His tail started to come out and stomped the gas. *slingshot* He spun off the course about 5a.

yup that's one of the good thing about MSCW track days compared to other clubs, is that you DON'T have to be a club member or own a Mazda to participate in their track days.

Audi Club allows non-Audis to participate, but you have to pay $44 in membership fee before you can sign up for their events

so yeah, if you got the $325 registration fee for the June event, sign up and come on down!

There was everything there. A few Corvetes, a Viper, a couple of NSXs, a new 350Z, several Porshes, a Mini Cooper S, a Beetle, a few purpose built cars, a TT coupe, etc. The Mazda brand accounted for about 1/2 of the cars (by my guestimation).

i think that there was a total of about 25 MSCW members out of the 100 or so cars. You don't have to be a member to sign up. But we do get a $10 discount

I'm definitely in for June. Are they divided in class? My car is currently stock, but if I get to run with anyone there, I was going to get an intake and increase boost if class doesn't matter.

It's based on experience, not on your cars specs. The course is laid out so there are places where faster cars can pass.

those guys in the more experienced groups are FAST
