Yes, the Focus RS rocks on the road course. Yes, it does have a Quaife.

I speak German but damn that was a 4 minute video...what do you want to know?? They basically praise the car for having massivwe grip and awesome handling....they compare it to the honda civic and said it's SCARY fast in comparrison.

Top Gear said it was great for curvy roads, but it was terrible as a daily driver. It's just too much of a pain in the ass to drive.


Plus, it's still an ugly as hell Focus.

the front air dam is the best I've evAr seen. That is the best looking focus, hands down.

I'm sure the RS is just as much of a compromise as the MSP is.....it's a stiff suspension, turbocharged auto-x car...how could it be worse?? the msp will still out run it in a turn.

As for suspension, Yes it is a stiff suspension set up for the track and for the a-roads in Europe. It was never tested on their B roads which will give a very bumpy ride. I also doubt that the MSP can out turn this on a track but that is just me.

do u know what happened to me when i was on the highway? a ford focus driving at 60mph tilted over and summersaulted 6 times head over heels.. driver was a 16 yr old philipino guy who wanted to change lanes but swirred back to his lane and the car just went on its side and began rolling..

No, I did not know what happened to you but now that I do, that sucks. I never encountered that problem when I had mine nor anyone else I knew. I can say that your event reminded me of a comic strip with a Ford truck on its side commenting "That's why we never kick tires of Ford vehicles".

First off that was a regular focus i suppose and yes they don't handle too well. Second i was following the whole Focus progect as it was developing back in the early 98 when the first fotos came out. It was an exciting new move for ford, and although controvercial stiling does not appeal to a lot of people in europe focus has amazing sales. Ford just opened a completely new factory in Russia (that's where i am from) and the quality there to my surprise is outstanding. Also european ford is a compleatly different beast from the north american ford. When I moved to US, I was wery surprised to find out that ford cars is despised by many people here for it's quality. That RS is a great car i think and it's quite different from other focuses out there. My family owned a 2000 focus station wagon from the first batch that hit massachusetts, and that car was a pain in the ars... Oh well hopefully It was an intersting info i gave you guys from a european point of view.
