thanks guys... but you just gotta see the orange one in person. the paint is really something else. my car looks like a blue p5 with some wheels and a lip.
don't worry, by the time we are done, the orange one will be really breathtaking.

The paint job was about $3,000
The paint is very expensive because it is a 3 stage
and has 10 coats of paint

Why is it that no one cannot accept criticism about their cars? Your comments show why this forum is starting to go down hill with all the arguing and name calling.

First off, you do not even know me to talk about my "brokeass". Fact is, there are more important things in my life than my car. At the time, it was my family, my home and my other toys (2 1999 Harleys) that saw most of my funds. Far from being a "brokeass" as you say.

Secondly, In the first picture you posted in this thread (before you edited it), it showed your car with stock wheels and being completely stock looking except for the color. The new pics you posted that show the wheels and ride height adjustment make the car look sick. I am sure the paint looks even better in person. See...that is positive criticism

But why did they not paint the whole engine bay and do a complete color change? Especially for $3000! For that much they should very well have painted just about every nook and cranny so that no one would ever be able to tell what color it was originally. I have a friend who owns a paint/body shop and told me to do the whole thing it would be about $3K, but that would definatley been a complet paint color changeover.

And Third...My car is far from stock. I do not care if other people like it, as long as I do. I am waiting for the DGM lip and I alrady have the Replica grille and then it goes in for paint. I am going to be doing some type of Titanium/Sunlight Silver scheme, just haven't figured it out yet.

And I can accept that. It does not matter to me, but I do not post pictures of my ride up on a public forum and expect to get all postive criticism. But what I do not accept is the fact that you are going to try and judge me or use cute little icons ((lol)) to try and make yourself look more (or less) intelligent.

sorry spicyorange but i would have to agree. correct me if im wrong but you have a spicyorange car (and it looks like a damn nice paint job), YET - i swear i can see a blue engine bay. for a little over a quarter of the price of a p5 i would expect to at least have every nook and cranny painted.

furthermore, there was nothing rude or arrogant about what Rider said about your car. he simply said he was glad he didnt do a color change. hes allowed to say that, and he said it professionally, whereas you suddenly became an arrogant and pompus asshole towards him. you dont know s*** about his finances and im sure you dont manage his check book. just one of the harleys he owns is worth more than your car AND incomplete paint job. there was no need to be such an asshole towards someone who was so polite about his opinion of your car.

I love to read people's remarks and try to guess their age. Its pretty easy on this thread.

I think the orange is pretty cool looking.....i like it better on a msp. Rider, thanks for showing some class and demonstrating "positive criticism.
