i want pics and what you guys encountered while installing the kit...everything you got, especially post scanned instructions from spool if you got em..im sure jamie is gonna hook me up, but i want pics and info from everyone with a spool kit so when i get the kit, i should be a SME and have it hooked up in no time.

thanks in advance...

btw im off all week thats why im so damn bored and want to become an expert a head of time.

Oh for the love of gawd, do a damn search. . .there's tons of info out there!

P.S. PM me your email and I'll send you the instructions on Monday when I get to work!

ok maybe i wasnt clear...i can search, thank you very much. but maybe i should be more specific...i want pics close up of just about all the major parts and where everyone has the stuff routed. most pics i come up with are relatively far away...for example, can you really see much of the way my o2 sensors are mounted in this pic:

of course not...and that is what most peoples turbo pics look like (at least that angle and distance)...im hoping for pics of the way people have their IC piping ran, where the o2s are mounted, where the oil return and vacuum lines are run, that sort of thing.

Dude..not to be rude..but the only way to become an expert..is to do the work yourself!

Reading all the books in the world won't make you an expert..but working on cars from around the world will!

From what i hear..the spool kit is very manageable kit to install..most get it done in 1 day...If you have all the pipes prefitted than it shouldn't take you longer than 6hrs straight!

G/Luck

Oh..when installing the intercooler and such..be sure not to tighten down all the clamps at first...so this way you can manuever them easier!

Chas

i know that, but i want to be able to not waste 30 or 40 min trying to route the oil return line...if i see pics of where its routed, etc...i can get the work done faster...after all i have to pay for my time by the hour.

Just relax, and let it happen don't rush or you will surely screw something up. Have fun with it. I kow when I put mine on I won't be rushing

Yes, chill. . .and don't be so damn mean! I will get you instructions with pictures. Read that, then you'll have more questions and I will be happy to answer them. I'll give you my number so you can call and ask questions. . .it will all be good. I just have the files at work and I don't feel like going to work right now!

am i right? what other lines are here?

i have been reading up on how turbos work all day.

Here is a few pics that may help a little....

Mounting should look like this...

hey thanks! i got a couple of questions if you get bored...ok i see where the ac canister should be, but i dont have it in that same location in my car, so is it something that you install with the turbo?

im not sure where the FPR is in that pic lol...

with the fmu - does it like go in the middle of the fuel line? you see what i mean? like do you basically cut the fuel line and put the FMU in the middle>?

where does the piping connect to the FMIC and intake...im a little curious as to how that hooks up...like i know a pipe comes from the turbo to the FMIC, then what? to the intake and split to the intake manifold?

The fmu goes in the return line for the fuel. Its pretty simple to do.

The intake goes to the turbo, then the turbo spits it out into the lower intercooler that goes to the intercooler, air goes though the ic, then into the upper intercooler pipe and to the throttle body.
