Thanks guys for all the lovin! Sport Compact Car magazine is my inspiration/teacher for taking car pics....just find a really cool background and alter the height you shoot from.
About my camera/purchase: This was the best deal evAr! The 4.0 Megapixel Nikon 4300 was purchased from Best Buy. Originally priced at $399 I used a 10% coupon, the camera had a $50 mail in rebate, came with the 8 or 16MB normal card, along with a free 64MB PNY card ($40 value) and Best Buy gave us a $10 gift card.... basically a $440 in goods for $300.
I just can't wait to get my wide angle and fisheye lenses!
Oh and about "Novi" there's a bunch of dumb rumors about where the name came from. For example: One teacher told us that some prominent early settler had a wife named Violet. Violet kept suggesting names for the city, the settler kept responding "No, Vi".....Dumb. The more accepted history is that Novi was the Number 6 Train Stop on some route...since the city wasn't much until the train route had a major effect No. VI became Novi....sounds cool enough to me.

hmmm.....beats me. it's probably some dome stationary place. That picture was taken in Northville, a suburb of about 30,000 with a 4 block mainstreet area. That is in a parking lot behind the buildings on Main Street. I like all the different building colors and styles, it's be nice if some of those signs weren't in my pics...
