thanks ceej. I will check it out when I get home.
need some art for my home theater.

You are into home theater? What do you have? I have a very basic set-up.

Panasonic Panablack 36" TV.
Technics Surround reciever
Samsung DVD
Infiniti center speak
Technics tower speaks for front r and l.
And a pair of Bose mini omni directional for back.
Had an ONKEO powered sub but found that my towers were giving me great bass.

Like I said, a basic system.

he he he I had not thought about that! (yes)

yeah, I am into the home theater thing. I spent a couple months of my life finishing my own basement so I could set this up.

Toshiba's 61" HDTV capable rear projection display.
Onkyo TS-DX787 6.1 DTS, LucasCertified, THX, THX-EX 6.1 receiver.
Pioneer DV-434 Progressive Scan DVD Player.
Mitsubishi's 6head VCR that I rarely use.
Polk Audios RM-7500 Series speakers with an additonal speaker (RM75s) for rear center.
Sub's are the one that came with the RM-7500 which is the PSW-650 (2-10" powered) and an additional PSW-450 (12" powered) both on the Onkyo's LFE connections.
Have the Xbox and the PS2 now...

Your basement looks great Dean, it would look even better with some art. :)

That is an interesting audio tower.....don't know if I like it. You system sounds awsome dude.

As an artistl, when I see blank walls in a house it drives me crazy.

Hang something on your walls people! Anything is better than nothing.

Thanks.
That was a temporary fix. I hate that stupid tower thing. The receiver weighs too much and is dimensionally too small for the footprint of the receiver. It has to be on top?!
I have the wood, just need to get my time set aside so I can finish the cabinets as I intended to when I set up the basement layout.

The receiver goes to 100(I believe) and we normally listen to it at or around 28 when we watch movies. Funny story when I was setting it up. One of the boys was in the bath tub on the 2nd floor and my lovely wife comes running down laughing telling me I needed to head upstairs. With the THX setup, there is one part that just sends a low signal that causes everything to reverberate. There were little waves in the tub. It was awesome. I glass blocked and and insulated the walls and ceiling with corning fiberglass stuff made for sound dampening. The weakest spot is the door going into the basement, which is right below the bathroom the kids were in.

Just had to share; I feel great right now because I sold one of our membrrs a painting that she loved. I sold her a 300 dollar painting for a hundred because she loved it so much, makes me feel good when someone likes my work so much!

Congrats, Ceej. You've got some nice work. :)

...So who DID win the V-day contest? (uhm)
