Reserved the last BEGI kit today.

bASDhfashdhaha, sorry, I didn't mean for the flipping you off pic. I thought that he was supposed to flippout, not flipoff..

It that case. Here: (wow) (bow)

Your motor has spent more time out of your car than in it hasn't it??

I think a short block from the dealer probably would have cost you a small fortune. But look on the Mazdamotorsports website to get an idea of the FS-ZE short block...That'll give you a basic idea of what it would have cost brand new.

Nope. When it goes in the shop, it goes in for a while!

Well I got turned down for the additional funds to get my car out of the shop. So I am now scrounging to find the funds, and thngs to sell. If I seel the Turbo kit, that would mean that I spent all these funds just to go back to stock! I can't have that! I have been able to get enough funds together to maybe get my car out of the shop, but I will have to finance the rest with the shop. The max I can finance is $2500. This is getting VERY hairy! Things I have for sale include:

MHP Cold Air Intake $200 OBO

5.6 Inch TFT In car TV (Headrest or adhesive mount). $130

MSD RPM Activated Window switch $75

Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge $75

Greddy Electronic Fuel Pressure gauge $170

If interested in any of the above items, please Private Message me, or e-mail me at the address below.

Any help would be would be greatly appreciated.

Linux, man, I feel for you. I wish there was something I could do to help bail you out! Have you tried a personal loan from the bank and not from the shop? Try a few banks, maybe apply for a charge card and see what limit you get?

Anybody want to start a collection cup for the Church of LinuxRacr? In all seriousness I'd chip in a few to help you out man! Who's with me?!?!?(yes)

Good lord Linux,
I can't believe what a run of misfortune you've had with your ride. I'm surprised your still with our MP3 community. I'm glad you still are. I really hope you can figure something out, though. You were so excited about the turbo kit, and thought you had it all planned out, and then everything blows up in your face. Blech... Screw cars...

Chris

Even though currently I'm experiencing some problems of my own (not getting certain turbo aftermarket products to work) I'd definitely be willing to help a brutha out.

:)

Didn't the same thing happen to wshade with his Greddy BOV. why no just use the one in the kit for now, works great on my car!

Will,

How did you get it to work? Are the purged gasses still going into the turbo inlet tube? Or did you cap that off?

The greddy type s BOV's and hks units work on our maf systems. There is no need to reroute the air back into the piping

Right, that part is understood... It's the small pipe sticking out of the inlet tube that is supposed to be connected to the other end of the BOV- is what is concerning me. Since the greddy valve doesn't need to be connected to that, I'm left with an open ended pipe that is a branch off the inlet tube. I figure it will either need to be welded over or capped off-so that it isn't left open.

If you are wondering what I'm talking about it is right under the nipple that leads to the header. I think there might be a pic of the part I'm talking about here:http://community.webshots.com/photo/49050121/49051448PHKKXm

It's the third red pipe down-the little one with the tree branch looking pipe leading off of it.

The system is designed for this type of BOV. Before you cap it off call Corky to make sure all is well. Dont want you to void your warranty:D Thats a joke by the way! I'm fairly sure it is ok. Corky just likes the return style system.

hmmmm. So your BOV purges the gasses AND returns to the turbo inlet?

I wrote corky and email about it and he said:
Regardless, can't block the tube off as the vented gas must go back into the system.

Not so sure what to do

haha , well since I paid good money for mine, I'll see if I can't get it to work. Like Spoolin said, many techs have told him not to use my valve, but he does and it works fine...;)
