DaveB rings are AWESOME

Got my DaveB rings today from the group buy. Awesome packaging, awesome instructions and video.

Simple to install, and they look GREAT. The brushed rings are a perfect match for the silver needle bases on the 03.5 MSP's.

No pics yet..didn't want to take my camera out of the house in the pouring rain.

Well DaveB rings are quite bad ass, I must digress to say that DaveB and Kelly (or should it be KellyB?) are much more bad ass than their rings. They really helped me out big time with the latest rings GB.

oh yeah, and mega props for the DaveB shorty antenna, it's awesome

I am with this guy ^^^ maybe it has been posted before. but I still want to give thanks for the time that daveb took to make my car look better. yeah I payed for them but I think it was a good price for a great product. the install was easy thanks to the video. I am sure that we could have figured it out, but with the video no questions. just go out there and get it.

I have the stock alarm on my ES so I had that damn LED to mess with. I just put a towel on the column and pushed the piece off to the left. If you are careful the wire will lay next to the column and give just enough room to wiggle eveyrthing out.

Sorry that you folks are pissed at the repost.. but again.. thanks dave and kelly.. I think tonkabui helped out also. he was posting in the last GB so Thanks all..

I did read what ever one said. Not like there was 50 post. I am just saying that I also appreciate the service. and that I am going ot post even if someone is pissed to show my appreciation for the product. so damn jumpy around herre. take it easy buddy. its cool..

No glue. The instructions said this batch of rings don't require glue to stay on. They popped right on and I shook the gauge cluster pretty violently to test the fit. None of the rings came off.

Did you have in trouble getting the dash cover piece off with the alarm? I have read the instructions, but haven't attempted the install yet. Any pointers would be appreciated....

these rings SUCK! all i do is stare at them instead of concentrating on driving. i almost hit an old woman crossing the street today because of them. they're hypnotic. hahaha.

With a little finnaggling I was able to get the dash cover piece with the alarm LED around the steering wheel without having to unplug it. Just be careful you don't want to scratch the steering column cover.

BTW the rings look INCREDIBLE at night.

I didn't use glue at first, but after having them come out 6 or seven times I got sick of ripping into the cluster over and over again. I hope yours stay on ok.
