I found them! I went to my performance store across town finally and found some really great looking euro taillights for the 3rd gen proteges. I will get a model number for them, if you're interested.

Opinion though, I have a choice between the white/silver kind and black background. I have 5% tint in the windows and i"m thinking black at this point... $150.00 for the set.

Would you think the Euro taillights would look... cheapy? I'm trying to avoid that, and actually was wondering if anyone had them and had a pic of them?

well most people feel that altezzas automatically look cheap and are a step down from the stock lights, it's your car, do what you think looks best =)

hey its late i dont have time to elaborate :D check out your other thread for my suggestions.

i have the cf ones on mine. a darker lamp makes better for a white car.

i have seen the black ones before on a black msp, they look ok, but these are new, the cf ones were my only option when i got into my accident. the insurance quoted ONE stock taillamp more expensive than i got my PAIR of cf ones for ($100 vs $162 for ONE)

needless to say i pocketed the 62 dollars and went on my way

you mean these?

just put these on today

I heard complaints about the quality of these lights (sloppy glueing), but I guess I was lucky, cuz mine were in great condition.

I'm starting to think you're very desperate to get rid of your rims. But I think I found some near my house... gun metal. I really liked the way the darker rims looked.

i was considering some hyperblack rims. (dark gunmetal)

check out models in hyperblack, you may pay a premium for them, but they are awesome.

i'll watch for them. :) well then I'm also wanting to get a spoiler, that's going to be another little investment, but I think well worth it. I found a nice low-rising spoiler that is more what I want, vs. the high rise kind that come up half way up your windshield.

BTW:> Mission complete and deviled eggs are finished... 4 hours later. X_x that's a lot of deviled eggs.

In general, gunmetal looks darker than hyperblack. Hyperblack is a high-contrast silver (bright highlights and dark shadows). They will generally look like a polished silver with a nice shine in the light.
