Bose Complete Aftermarket Speakers with Amps & LC7i

After much research I plan to tap front and rear door speaker wires. The doors and sub will be powered by the amps but the 3 dash & 2 rear pillar speaker will stay on the factory system they have been updated too.

There is not an after market T-Harness for the 2016 CX-5 GT with Bose system. The only option is to create your own or straight tap if you plan to add amps with non Bose speakers.

Still finishing up the pre-wiring. I will add updates soon.

Bose is a bigger pain expected the amps are still not installed. Finding the remote is a monster. All except the rear pillar speakers have been installed which is a massive difference from the Bose.

Replaced the pillar speakers and center with these Kicker 3.5’s and they sound great, I already knew they would because I used them before in my Armada which also had Bose system but I replaced the HU in it.

Finally installed the amps and LCI 7 the final results was tapping into the front and rear door speaker-wires and running them to the LCI then to the four channel app back to the Door speakers. Next running RCA’s from the LCI to the two channel amp to run the subs. The LCI7 converts low frequency and has a output for the subs. My CX five has the Bose system, but it did not have a factory-sub. I still have to do the cleanup or what will be called wire maintenance to make it look professional. I will add the final picture with a full description there was great wiring chart that I found online and it was spot on. If I would have started when I got the chart it would have been done the same day that I made the first post.
