2017 CX-5 upgraded to the 2024 model original 10.25-inch touch screen and CMU, 360 Panoramic images,Wireless CarPlay, Really smooth!

Excellent job - very nice.

A few questions if I may:-

Was that a kit or did you just order all the bits separately?

Was it as simple as replacing the CMU, screen and trim panels or was some reprogramming required?

And, the crass question that someone needs to ask..... How much did it cost to do?

The installation is super easy - just swap it out with the old one. They're both plug-and-play interfaces. If you don't change to 360-degree panoramic imaging, it won't cost more than $1000

I want to use a 2024 touchscreen for my 2021 cx5. Do you think its plug and play? I dont want the 360 camera but it looks like the new screen can give TPMS too? Does it work if i install a used part?
