Where did you get best price for Mazda Extended Confidence / Warranty?

I have been looking at the Mazda Extended Confidence plan too, and the prices you found from Werner Mazda seem pretty reasonable. From what I have noticed, sometimes local dealers can offer small discounts if you ask directly, so it might be worth checking a few in your area. I also learned that some people compare plans or check service histories through places like Metrowest car service just to see what coverage and options make sense before buying. did Werner Mazda let you choose between different deductibles or terms, or were the packages fixed as listed? That could help decide if its worth calling other dealers for a better deal.

OMG I thought this was a new thread and I started scrolling...then saw my replies... :D
I posted in...2019/2020. I still have that car. Almost 90K miles. A warranty would have still been a waste of money.

What are you buying Smithjn?

150k on mine. Warranty pointless. Still would have cost more than the repairs I've done to the lock actuators, shifter switch, and belt tensioner. All else has been maintenance items really.

I don't have a CX-5, but I bought my my 2015 Mazda6 new almost 12 years ago, and just about 100k miles. Here's a list of my maintenance that has been done other than normal wear items:

1. Belt tensioner $109.64 (didn't need to replace but was leaking a little)
2. Battery tie down $12.52 (didn't need to replace but had corroded a little)

That's it, that's the list.

I've had to replace the lower control arms and struts and will probably do the shocks this year. Really the biggest maintenance cost items for me, but I mean that was still after 10+ years owning the car so warranty pointless.
