What have you done to your Mazda3 today?

Trying to replace the front (upstream) o2 sensor of a 2015 Mazda 3 isport but struggling. It's my first attempt. The o2 sensor socket I have is the long one. I will try and buy the short one to see if that will work. The long one doesn't seem to have a "bite" since it's tight under the hood of my Mazda 3.

If I need to use a lubricant to remove a hard to remove o2 sensor, what would anyone suggest?

Our son traded his 2008 3s GT hatch for a 2025 3 S Select Sport hatch in machine grey metallic. It's his first new car and mom and dad are very proud of him! He is very excited and happy. He was leaning towards a CX-30 but when he saw them in person he said he'd feel like a soccer mom. lol

Out with the old (IMO those 2008 bodylines aged well)

Congratulations! Wow, that's quite an update when you think about it...2008 to 2025! 🤯 The 2008 gen Mazda3 still looks great but what a contrast when you see the latest gen 3 which itself has been out for a while now but it still looks like it's from the future!

Bought a brand new 2025 Select Sport in Ceramic Platinum Metallic back in April. Added side louvers and black door handle covers. Love this color. Sometimes looks white, sometimes looks light grey

Thank you! Yes it is and he is soooo happy to no longer have to use a physical key to unlock/lock the doors and put in the ignition. The 2008 lines to me are timeless like the P5 from back in the day. You see one on the road and it still looks good. IMO Mazda has had great body designs since the late 90's/early 00's withe MP3, MSP, P5, etc. Even their mini-van the MPV looked nice and ahead of the times. The only design I haven't been crazy about is the 2nd gen Mazda6.
The body on that 2008 still looks immaculate! You guys really took care of that car.
Thanks but to be fair that's from quite a distance. It had just over 195K miles, all lived in the NE PA area. There was the usual rust on the rear quarters that started two years ago. I pulled the PS side skirt last summer due to broken clips. The clear coat on the rear spoiler and front grille was cracked/spidering and the paint was showing signs of fading.

Great color choice! I have a Miata the same color and get compliments on the color all of the time. I was happy when I saw they brought it back for the Mazda3. I think it would look good on the SUV lineup too.

First I've seen the side louvers, I like them as well as the door handle covers. Have you considered wrapping the chrome window trim in a gloss black vinyl? That would be a perfect compliment to the tint, louvers, mirror caps, door handle covers and wheels.

Just realized that Mazda flipped the window trim too. On the hatch it runs along the bottom of the windsows whereas it runs along the top of them on the sedan.
