I finally got new rims and tires for my Mazda5 Sport. Wheels are 17x7.5 Moda MD14 (tirerack.com). Tires are Yokohama Avid Envigor h-Rated 225/45/17. What a difference in terms of appearance and handling. These new rims and tires replaced my winter set of the stock 16x6.5 Mazda rims with 205/60/16 General Altimax.

Looks great.

I'm guessing by the looks of the trees that you're having Spring fever up there. That looks like a long winter.

You made a great choice there, I like the look a lot! The combo of the new black wheels and the painted calipers must be really sharp in person, nicely done.

When I first received my new rims and tires I weighed them to compare to the stock rims with snow tires. As you can see from the photos below, each new rim+tire is 5lbs heavier than stock. After having put about 250 miles on the new set so far, I can't say the ride has suffered too much. Everyday driving is no different than driving my wife's 2008 Mazda5 which has the stock 17's with 215/45/17s.
