Upper Radiator hose Leaking at clamp

Hi, just recently noticed my upper radiator hose is leaking where the clamp holds it going to the motor. As well as the hose which connects to it going down.

I want to know if they just need to be changed? or does this mean there could be something obstructing them?

The temperature gauge is working fine and the car is not over heating but i'm afraid the hoses will snap off. The coolant is leaking onto 2 wire connectors which could cause a short circuit. I'm also having idle problems ( on another thread) but don't think these are related. I'll post a picture soon.

Thanks.

hoses dry out and need replacing. get a new one before it bursts, and call it a day.

Ok sounds great! hopefully no thermostat or water pump issues. Do you know if the hoses come with their own clamps?

Thanks.

ok just had time to look into it. The hose leaking is the upper radiator hose and another smaller one which connects the upper radiator hose to the water pump I believe. Just could not find in the service manual the name for that hose any idea what it is?

I would say its about 3/8" or 1/2"
