Hello Everyone. I was just wondering are Tein S springs any good ? The front drop is 1.8 inches and the Back drop 1.5 do they have a ruff ride?(eyeballs)(uhm)

I have some. So far they're quite good. I definitely like the drop. The ride is a bit stiffer but it's not too rough. I'd say go for them if the're a good deal.

in my opinion, the tein s-tech springs are the best option for the protege. ideal "functional" drop and spring rate. paired with tokico illumnia struts is the best set-up without going to a full coil-over system.

Does eBay have the best prices for these in new condition for between $180 - $190?

I run em, paired with cheapo struts - all's well thus far.

plenty of spring (not too harsh) and just enough drop.

that's about average price for these springs, but ebay has been know to have fake s-techs listed. i would bet you could find them from a reputable authorized seller for the same price.

OK...will keep that in mind when it comes time to purchase. Looking to pair these up with some Stagg specials from eBay :)

I have then and have no complaints
Oh ok i do like these springs but i do not own them yet also i noticed they only have a one year warranty as opposed to Eibach Springs have alife time warranty. I was actually thinking Should i Just get the EIbach Sport line if thats the case?

I have them aswell and no complaints here. It's a very nice drop.
Oh ok im debating whether i should get these or the Eibach Sport line Springs because i really do like the Eibach Sportline Springs better and that is an Extreme Drop of like 1.8 inches . Personally i think Eiabach is better because they have there million mile warranty Tein only has a one year so obviously I would say that the Eibach one is more better and definitely sounds more reliable as far as warranty goes. What do you think?

by the times the springs wear out you will have wrecked the car or traded it in.

good luck finding a set of sportlines, too. they have been discontinued long time ago.

Tein S-techs/Tokico Blues...call it a day.

I don't mean to sound redundant but the springs/shocks you just listed, are they going to lower the car much? I would like to keep the stock rims on my car but lower it just a bit. I am getting alot of rummbling in my shocks area. So I'm sure I have to replace them all and maybe something else in there. Thanks

Thats what im rolling on with no complaints!

Me too. ;)

1.8" F/1.5" R and while I'm not running stock wheels, I do have 16" MX-5 wheels wrapped in 205/50/16s and have no issues at all, same with my 185/70/14 winter set of wheels.

Really what happens when you have a car full of People like 2 people in the front and 3 people in the back does the car bottom out or Rub? Never mind just one person but a whole car full. What happens?
