SPRINT lowering springs

how do the sprint springs feel as opposed to stock dx/lx/es/p5 springs? if they r stiffer i would think about getting them just for the 2" drop...cuz how high my car sits now it looks like im going rally racing.

very stiff on the stang also it is a 2 inch drop and you are heavily shortening the life of your struts

This is my car with stockies on. Just showing the drop, and they are a bunch stiffer than stock springs, even slightly more than the Spools I had on before.

I have these on my P5 and love them. I had spools before these, and the sprints are actually a little firmer and sportier feeling. Gives a nice 2" drop also(2thumbs)

hey u got any pic of ur car? can i see em? just want to know how the car would look like w/ sprint springs and 18" rims....thx!

Anyone have thoughts on the Sprint springs versus the Eibach's or others? I'm looking to stiffen the ride a bit for better performance and lower mildly. I don't want to worry about scrapin' and I don't want the wheels shoved too far into the wheel wells. I am planning to stick woth my stock wheels, at least for a couple years. I've been looking at the Eibach's as my first choice, but it looks like I may get a sweet deal on the Sprint's so I wanted to consider them.

Thoughts?

Andy

the only way you would scrape or shove your wheels into the wells is if you bought coilovers and ran them all the way down. sprints only have a 2" drop, not enough to worry about.

No scraping anywhere else either?

What's the ride like on the Sprint's versus the Eibach? What about height between the two?

Andy

Just installed sprint springs this past weekend, and so far so good. I was going to go with ground control's + retaining spring, but decided on the sprints b/c of price and the drop. I drive 3,000-4,000 miles/month and didn't want the ride to suffer too much. Sprint does not publish the spring rates, but did tell me that they are 27% stiffer than stock, and they are also progressive rate like eibach, teins, etc. To be quite honest I think the ride is better than stock, and that's with 18's as well. As far as scraping goes, my driveway is pretty steep, and I have yet to scrape my wind splitter or exhaust upon entry/exit. For what I was looking for I give them two thumbs up!

Good info, thanks! Does your car sit level or is it still a bit higher in the rear than the front? Do you have any pictures you can post?

Andy
