I was leaving a light at an intersection, a lady in front of me. We were accellerating up to speed and I looked left at my gf for literally 1 sec. When i looked back the lady was stopped in front of me.
BANG! Right into the arse of her, not in a good way.

Dunno if they will deem it wrote off or not.

I'm hoping so to be honest with you. I like car shopping and I don't want a vehical with a salvaged title.

The other side looked the same.

My airbags deployed

The airbag burned my arm when it came out almost like carpet burn. It did the same to my gf's leg. Nothing to worry about tho. Man, them airbags stink too...

So what do you think, wrote off or fixable. It was leaking oil after the accident too...somewhere near the oil filter i think. Oil was all over beneath the spark plug cover and all down on the plastic safety thing on the underside of the car.

Thats what i'm thinking. BUT, alot of the time when the air bags deploy, it's gone. I dunno how bad the oil leak was, it obviously pushed the motor back or smashed the oil filter, but i doubt that.

Need a new bumber, 2 fenders, hood i think, oil leak, 2 air bags, dash, and whatever else i never seen. Headlights never got scratched lol

she stopped cause someone in front of her did. We were acellerating, i looked right, she stopped as i turned to look, and when i looked back she was already stopped. I honestly hope she's gone cause i may be able to get full replacement value of what i paid for it. I got a dodge avenger as a rental. Not fun, especially bein auto.

Im supposed to hear back on the damage monda. i'll let you all know

yeah...they will fix this for sure. I once had accident with my civic and bill came out to be close to 10K and they just fixed it... hope everything works out for you

Ok, so they are going to fix it. I have to go in today to sign off so they can start. I heard of people buying aftermarket parts when they get their car fixed before. Aka, i need a new hood so if i can find a carbon fibre one for cheaper or similar price, they should do it right?
I think i need a bumper and a hood. I'd love to get an autoexe front bumper, but i can't remember the cost. Could someone pull it up and check?

Ok, I got the quote back. The total cost to fix the car is a shade over $11,000.00. Damn I wanted a write off.
But, at least i'll have no more rock chips in the hood

Also, my passanger side hid ballast went out, they never knew that. They said they'll be replacing my hid's with new ones. Thats pretty sweet lol.

it'll be down for about 3.5 weeks tho....

AutoExe front bumper would be $690 USD, $731.00 canadian

On corksports website, they list it as almost $1000. But anyway, the stock one is only $400 so i'm not dishin out that much extra right now.

that price was directly from AutoExe's website. Obviously another company reselling it would mark it up for profit.

I have no choice but to be covered. You can't have the car unless you can prove you can insure it. Each airbag was only $4-500 a piece. But all the other little parts added up. There was over 50 items to be replaced/refinished

I just can't wait to get it back. This avenger is a pig on gas

and the gf is hard to ignore
