2002 Protege 5. PART OUT

I have a Black 02 Mazda Protege5. It's a manual transmission w/ 120K miles.

My engine stopped working a year ago. I forget what exactly the mechanic told me was wrong, but it was something within the engine that broke. The car was running great before this happened, and I drove it for for 60K miles. I have already purchased a new car, and this car has been sitting in my driveway.

I'm willing to sell any part. You may need to come and remove it yourself though, if I am unable to do so myself. If you want a pic of any part in particular, let me know.

Everything is on a best offer basis. I think its easiest to make offers on this page so everyone can keep track, but feel free to PM me as well.

Please bear in mind, I lost the paperwork for this car over the past year. I have the keys, and the remote though. If you want to purchase the entire car, you can, but probably won't be able to get it registered. You can part it out yourself, or use the parts.

Dang somebody should buy the whole car and fix it. You can request for a lost title at the DMV for 5 bucks. Well at least that's what it cost here in Texas.

yea. pretty much same price here. But they gave me a hard time. The car was under my bro's name and I assumed he received the title, and he assumed I received the title. What actually happened was that we never got it because the bank never removed the lien from the car from the previous owner.

Then when I had a buyer for my car, we realized we neither of us had it, and we went to DMV. They said that there is a lien on the car, and to have it removed, I need to contact the original owner. I tried contacting the bank, but they said since the lien was under the old owner's name, he needs to allow the bank to give me the info. I was unable to contact him, and it's not worth the headache.

They won't give me a new title, because it's not "officially" ours, even though we had a registration, and insurance and everything under our names (actually my bro's).

Long story short, title isn't gonna happen cuz they're gonna charge me too much in fees and stuff, and it's gonna take months.
