Need a Name for a Part

its loctaed by the front motor mount right on top of it .its like a boot connected to the tranny like a seal boot or some thing like that. need help bad leaking so much oil.......

its right above the front motor mount. if you take it off you could see in the tranny.

well the boot its all jack up it wont seal so i have to but a rag to hold the oil coming out so it wouldnt spell oil on to the cats. it work for me right now but want to fix it just dont know the name of the part.

no, it's not hard to replace. It is only a couple of bolts. Maybe 10 min. 15 minutes top

I just ran outside and took this pic...Is this what you are talking about? If so, then yeah it is the slave cylinder.

i just google it and it seems its part of what it is. its a big boot connected to the tranny. its right below your intake and right on top of the front motor mount

That boot is for the linkage to the throw out bearing.

It shouldn't leak. You've got bigger fish to fry than a boot.

it leaks cuz the boot is worn out . it wont just pop in. the rubber is too loose to keep its whole shape. most of it seal ecepxt one coner.
