Hey guys I placed an order for spool hardpipes and intake combo. They will be in tmrw. When I called in I was told that I could use either Hks standard bov or the Greddy Type S as both would work with the default flange that is put on. I can only find the HKS SSQV online to purchase. Anyone know where this standard one can be found? Thanks

Hey how does it sound with that setup? Sorry for the multitude of questions just trying to make an informed purchase. Thanks :)

no problem . its sounds like a loud pigeon with injen intake. i like it turns alot heads when you shift. even when i had the greddy type s it sounded the same.

the car would stall when coming out of boost and then shift into nuetral. very annoying.the greddy is nice and flashy but its a piece of crap. with hks standard valve the car runs smooth just like the stock valve. you live pretty close to me i havn't seen any silver ones around here. i have seen a yellow and orange one in the area.

I haven't seen many around my sister's house where I live currently but jersey_emt lives really close to my mom's house...like two blocks away :)
Why didn't you install the resirculation for the greddy when you had it? I think I may go with the HKS standard. Save some bucks and still have the same perf :) How long did it take you to install the hardpipes?

btw as a sidenote you take 287 much? When I first bought my car there was a spicy getting on to 287 (By the edison area)

i did have the recirculation on the greddy and it still stalled. i dont take 287 to much but if all the windows were tinted it could have been me. i bought the fmic and took only about 2hours to install so the hard pipes should go real quick.btw do you have a boost controller. if not i got a turboxs hp mbc and also have the conversion to make it a dual stage. cheap
