2003 Protege5
Hello everyone! I just became a member because I love reading these forums. Some of you guys are very knowledgeable.
I purchased a 2003 Protege Familia three months ago from a teenager (I'm 39) to use as a commuter car to and from work since I drive 800 miles a week. I must admit that I really like the little car, and it has plenty of power and gets good gas mileage. The car sits lower than other MP5's so I imagine it has been lowered. It also has drilled rotors and steel braided brake lines all the way around. Is that stock? The car also has black Mazda wheels 16".
I do have some idle problems and will post them here, but right now I just wanted to introduce myself.
Thanks for reading.
P.S.
If someone tells me how to post pics, I will.
Also, what is the difference between the Familia and regular Protege5?

"Familia" badges are available to stick on as a replacement for the Protege5 badge. I got mine from Protegegarage.com.

Drilled rotors and steel lines are not stock. Nice upgrade!

Enjoy the car, and BTW, I'm older than you and having fun with this car too!
