Lets see what your double din setup looks like in your MSP / Protege.

I'm ordering a Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD for mine but want to see if I need to purchase an extra kit or harness. I hope what ever comes with it will make it appear flush in the protege dash with no gaps.

Hey are your double din kits only clipped to the dash trim?
I mean those kits don't get screwed down or bolted behind the dash?

I looked inside of my protege dash and it is VERY hollow. I ordered the kits for my Pioneer 7inch touch screen anyway just seems weird the kit doesn't have more security.

The double dine dvd player i have doesn't fit perfectly, got my kit from crutchfield and it just slides in, it is clamped but you can easily slide it in and out if you want up to when the clamps catch. It was an awkward mount.

Balls that sub set up is sick, care to enlighten me?

Can someone send me a link to the mounting kits they used? I have a lilliput screen in the BYBYTE Double Din frame, and i'm having a really hard time finding a kit that works for the car. its front dimensions are 177mm x 107mm. Would it even fit?

are those the 7" or the 8".

No offense to anybody, but i hate how the decks look too small and have the stupid trim ring around it. I had a clarion in mine and it bugged me so i sold it.

I think I'm gonna go with the 8" touch screen and glass it in like in the one pic. Looks way better and more like a stock setup.

How do these carputers play the regular radio? I need to do more searching on that.
