PLEASE take a video to hallmark the occasion! Then post that sucker for all to see...(rockon)

I wish I had access to do something like that??
All I have access to is a digi cam and a 8mm camcorder.
Anyone got a way to come to the track and record some history for me?I don't even know what to use to get it in a format to load to the computer for everyone to see?
I would love to but I know nothing about this just how to race and build cars!
Matt:D  :D

Where's the time slip?

Are you also dropping front tire pressures and raising the rears up to the max on the tire's sidewall?

If you can retype the slip if you don't have digi or scanner, that would be great!

I actually didn't do anything to the tire pressures. They are the same front and rear,40 PSI.I tried them lower at 32 and only managed a 14.3 so I would say what I always have.DON'T drop the pressure on a street tire because its not designed for it.I will post the slip in a few.I will have to type it if I can't capture it with the cam.I 'll try to blow it up like I did last time and then take a pic.

Thanks Matt. Now I dont feel totally blind! If you look you are actually slower, on the other slip you are faster untill the 1/8 mile.

If you don't know where to start with pressures, you can get into trouble fast, but I've done this on every street car with street tires...

Looks like a 2.2 60', if you got that down a bit, you would be in the 13's!

Great run though!!! Keep up the good work!

When you say weather stripping do you mean the entire black mat on the hood? Does that vent the heat much? How much did you pay for the apex d/p? If ya don't mind.

no, thats the heat shield to protect the paint. the weather stripping you remove is the stuff at the cowl. helps vent, but if you have the "fresh air" vents for the hvac open, you get hotter air.

guys just got done racing a friend of mine with a 95 GSR. He has a decent amount of mods i.e. type r tranny and head are just some. But anyways I raced him at least 8 times and it was heads up I won 4 he won 3. but the 4 times I won I did not feather the clutch.

I was curious what method forcefed and others use. I let the car hit its rev limiter a few times then switch. I am used to driving these v8 that really lose traction. I am probably letting the gas out to far?

Time for some lessons!!
