What have you done to your Miata today?

dude...we checked EVERYTHING.
Seems either the module or the CAS I bought used was f%%ked.
So I am ordering 2 more.
After we checked around the ECU (the PO hacked up all the wires etc) so i found a cheap one on ebay...I ordered it.

I added a hard top, finally. It's intended for the CSP car. However, since a friend is borrowng that car, it's sitting on the challenger. I'll say, though, it doesn't look to bad on there in red.

So apparently the Miata doesn't like to stall when it's cold. I came to the 1st light outside of the office park, and left it in 3rd by accident. Didn't notice that it was in 3rd until I was almost off of the clutch and it wasn't moving. D'oh! Killed it. It would turn over, but it wouldn't crank.

Awesome. Rolled it backwards into the grass, which was fun. Fortunately the other cars gave me a wide berth. Also fortunately, I had a couple took kits with me for a trip to florida to pick up a possibly non-running car this weekend (I was picking up the van w/ trailer @ lunch). Pulled the #1 plug, and didn't smell a boat load of fuel or anything, so it didn't seem flooded. Put the plug back in, sat in the car, and it cranked right up. Wierdness. Apparently letting it sit for a couple minutes did the trick (shrug)

Installed the Racing Beat Intake today. Not too bad. Defintely quicker to rev now.

Word man...now put that bumper back on! :D
Did you install a Bypass valve incase you accidentally suck up some water??
Hydrolock is a b****! I HL'd one of my 2 DSMs back in the day...insurance did not cover that. :(

Nope. Intake is halfway up the bumper. Water is going to be coming in the doors before it hydrolocks. From what I've read the bypass valves leak on full throttle and then you are injesting un-filtered air.

Changed the tranny fluid for Redline MT90. Also cut off the bottom of the accelerator pedal for better ankle comfort and foot room.

It wasn't mine, but had to bleed the clutch on a borrowed '97 M on the side of Deal's Gap, lol. Does that count?

Added some more horsepower. Barry (Jakelope) is the freakin man! If you ever need any vinyl / graphics / T-Shirts done, I highly recommend him :)

damn dude, your electronics are totally hosed aren't they??
Nope. The main relay is basically a fuse. We treated it as such by simply replacing it. Problem solved. Car runs great and boosts well and the electronics are g2g. I kept mentioning to him about the fuses but he said they were good. We then called up a mazda specialist who ended up being a guys dad from masdaclubtr (Turkish mazda club) and he tracked the problem down. Good guy too went to jpn and did the mazda service course. He apperently is the man to go to. His son also has a 99. The one with the blue ht from my meet pics.
