So this weekend it was pretty nice out so i decided to try to get the parts installed that i had sitting in my basement since february. i started with the CPE 3" catted dp, TWM short throw stage 2 with bushings, and SU rear motor mount on saturday.

Then sunday came around and i decided to install my prosport boost guage in the center vent and also paint the brake calipers. only got the front 2 calipers done since they take so long to dry and i only have 2 jackstands. it now has cooled off again in wisconsin so the back 2 will have to wait a little while. but here are some pics of my car now.

first one is before the painted calipers

sure what do you want to know? after i saw the pics of your setup i thought that was the perfect place for it.

like how long did it take you, any major struggles? i'll be getting that downpipe off another member shortly. did you have to take out your motor mount so you could get the stock downpipe out?

it took about 2.5 hours for me and my dad to do it. it was nice cuz while one of us was taking apart the engine side the other was taking about the exhaust.

the only real struggle we had was getting the stock dp out. those cats are friggin huge and dont like to manuever well. we took off the front (small side) of the rear motor mount, and later i took out the whole thing cuz i put in the SU one. also you have to take off the front motor mount. this lets the motor drop to take out the old dp. after we dropped the motor we used a pry bar to pry it forward enough to get it out. once that this is out the rest is pretty simple. the new one goes in smooth and then you just put everything back together. my gasket didnt line up right away so i had a leak. took it apart the next day realigned it and now no more leaks. love the sound and the power of it.

sounds good did you have any trouble with the O2 sensor or did you just take your time with it.

went to auto zone and rented the O2 wrench. they came right out. i did spray them with wd40 just as a precaution. pretty much just soak any bolt you are taking out as a precaution is what i did.

I've been trying to get one of those rings since your write-up with no luck. They keep saying "next week".
Just have patience with them. The pieces are custom one-off pieces and not a regular production part... I waited over a month for mine and it was well worth the wait....

just added the blacked out emblems

here are some pics of the blacked out emblems that i put on this morning.

My Speed6 is the same color as yours and I also have he blacked out emblems...Love the look they give the car.
Im going to give the front/rear bumper markers a coat of nite shades to better accent the black emblems...

I'm surprised how well the black compliments the VR. I think personally tinting the car would really tie it all together, as well as shading the side and rear markers. Or you could get the LED markers for a subtle change, and they look amazing at night.

As for the OP, the car looks good, except for the dash kit IMO. It either needs to be painted to match, or you need to repaint your whole center stack to match. It's a shame they don't make a specific color for the MS6.

Ive got 20% tint all the way around and it looks wicked... Thought about the led markers but nite shades is more economical and fairly easy to do....OP sorry to hijack your thread...
