I searched and i saw a car with them in there i am just wondering if there is currently anyone running this set up and if you had picks of the brackets needed to mount them in our cars?

hmmm , this might turn out clever idea.
they do have some good damn seats , thats for sure.

anyone??? i really wanna do this, and i'm not feeling crazy enough to try and custom fab seat brackets. The fit i know it cause i have seen pictures. i wanna see what the brackets look like.

I was going to put some in my MSP but,my buddy didn't want to come off of them.

I went with a pair of sparco's instead:)

I would think that you can modifiy your stock bracket's with some adapter's to fit them in but,I have not tryed it myself so I am no help to you.

Good luck! And just take your time it will be a fair amount of work if they don't directly bolt in the car or onto the stock MSP bracket's

i mounted my racing seats to the stock MSP bracket and boy, that was tough, well the passengers wasnt, but the drivers has all the extra stuff on it, but i wold get with sparcos or other raching seats, not a RSX seat XD

I custom made brackets for my Mazdaspeed racing seats (they're like a sparco seat but it says mazdaspeed on the top. im pretty sure there like ebay seats, but they were free and are super nice quality and very comfortable). If your creative and have an afternoon im sure you can do it too. Below are a few pictures of what they looked liked right after i put them in. ::Note:: This is not how they look now, i cut the extra metal off and cleaned all the edges up, primed and painted them black to look nice, but here is an idea for you. yes... kind of a ghetto way to do it, but there in there good and it was alot cheaper than buying mounts from sparco or some company like that. maybe this will help

Dude....I am all for making things yourself to save money...]
But damn...Looking at that mount is scary!

It looks like it would be all "Springy" from flexing.

that was posted in the org. message and its not springy at all, its bent steel, its solid, unless you way like 300lbs

No but I weight 250..and my fat ass woulnd sit on those.
you should have used some agle iron to make them..much more solid.
I know what you used....I just cant believe it.

why cant you believe it? and i may have used iron but i think it was mild stainless, anyways im 165lbs and it doesnt move at all, and its not springy or loose when i sit in it. so im not gonna worry about it, the seats arn't going anywhere

Remeber that when you get rear ended...I want to see a pic of those brackets then.

But ok..Good deal.

just a word of advice, if the insurance company sees that s***, and your in a accident. They gonna try to use that as an excuse to NOT cover you. They will do anything to not cover people but take their cash. So becareful. They may LOOK good and all that s***, but if its not tested and up to spec your playing with fire.

lol thats why i kept the stock seats. well you do as you wish, was just trying to lend an idea. sorry

nothing to be sorry bout...i am just letting you know to be careful dude. As long as you get to the seats before the adjuster/claims person your ok... but like i said be careful. no matter how good the idea ITS NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE...cept sex... :D

I mean we reefed on these pretty good lol and we couldnt even get them to flex, but i hear ya, never half ass something that could be dangerous. I personally wouldnt have kept them in my car if i didnt think they were safe. I wouldnt risk my life over free seats lol.

I see that you welded/had someone weld a piece on your bracket so making a better bracket shouldn't be a problem.you need to get some 1/8"-1/4" steel strip's and make like a box shape out of them and connect all four mounting point's so,it at least makes your seat's mount rigid on the floor.

That look's very unsafe man....

Good Luck!

BTW I made my own bracket's using the stock bracket's/sliders so,I know how much of a pain in the ass it is to make them.
