Just for reference, this is what mine looked like without JetHot. It was in fine shape, just not all blingy. hehe
Huh, two different styles. I hope it's truly a AWR and it's for a Protege5, 03? That's what it was represented as.
Wanted the JetHot to keep it all purdy and the engine bay cooler. I hope it's not too loud.

That header sucks...I can save you the hassle and take it off your hands if you want 
yea...I notice 2 different styles as well. I have no idea whats up. Maybe 2 different production runs? I have never heard of this, but I guess its possible. Tony at AWR and I installed this at his shop, so I know its the real deal. hehe
The reason I sold mine was because I had to have my car smogged this year. Also I had a MAM catless midpipe installed and the smell was godawful. A friend was walking down the street and said it reeked big time as i went by him. lol So, a cop can surely smell this too. I dont want any trouble from the law when it come to emissions. So off it goes!
Oh, mine was not loud at all with this header. I did have the full stock catback in place too, as to keep it rather stealthy looking from the back and the sound low.

I have a RB and plan to get a high-flow catted mid pipe, so we'll see how loud. I like the style of your header better. Where'd you sell it? Don't remember seeing it here on the boards.

With the RB set up it will probably be ok cruising around town and very loud when accelerating hard. Before I reinstalled the stock catback, I had a Magnaflo catback and it was super loud. I mean harley loud, but just a different tone. Full on *BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH* in between shifts. lol and letting off the gas while decelerating was very loud too. Nice at the mall parking lots though.

Weird being better.........hence the hefty price tag.
Where did you buy your OBX headers? i have an 02 Pro5 and im looking at getting the OBX stainless steel racing headers from Sparktecmotorsports.com for $185. But i wanted to make sure the website and headers were legit. Help a brotha out.

I may be picking up one that's this style. Did you get yours "Assembled" or did you have to have it welded ?
