Not to trouble you or anything, but could you link me to, or tell me where you picked up the gauges and holder? I have searched the links on other threads and your set up is exactly what I want.

Thanks!

Sure! I bought the Gauge and the Pod from Crossover Auto Performance. Sam the owner is on these boards a lot, he's a great guy and knows his s***.

Pod: http://www.*************.com/ms3-2.htm

Gauge: http://www.*************.com/stri_dsdslm2amber.htm

Hope everything works out for ya. Post some pics when you get them installed.

No, the airbag is up high enough where it does not cause a problem.

Could you elaborate more on this?

Everything I've read said a pod would fly off if the airbag deployed. If that's not the case you've made me a happy man. I want to add a boost gauge and that's the only location I really like.

Nice work BTW!

Thanks! From what I understand when the airbag is deployed it comes from the headliner along the side of the car and does not interfere with the A-pillar.

Also, I would think it would be an issue regardless if the pod was on there or not. If that is the case (that the airbag being deployed would cause the pod to fly off) wouldn't the cover be an issue from the beginning.

If it comes from the headliner than that's not an issue.

I know I've seen some other cars where the pillar cover is hinged and pops open (but not off) when the airbag deploys. So, I guess my choice of words was not quite right. I think people's concern also was that a pod would hit against the windshield and potentially impede the airbag from deploying properly.

But, if it drops from the headliner that would eliminate that concern.
