Rip off CX-9 has it all

yes but youve said before that you are music fanatics, so you dont count :p

and people need to stop comparing the CX-7 and CX-9... the only thing they share in common is the AWD system and the Mazda name... The CX9 was never meant to be the "stretched" version on the CX7 and it was designed for a different buyer entirely.

And if you want sporty handling in your SUV, apparently the Saturn VUE out handles the Mazdaspeed Protege!!! (boom06) (hand) (rofl2)

I may be speaking out of turn here, because I haven't seen the CX-9 in person yet, but I think the CX-9 looks more like a minivan than an SUV. The 7 is plenty big enough for me!

ITs really one of those cars to see in person... it looks nothing like a minivan once you see it, there are subtle lines that just dont show up in teh pics...

I actually like it more now that Ive had a chance to see/touch/drive the thing...

I agree that the CX-9 looks better in person. I just saw one and sat in it at the dealer. It's truly a special car, at least looks wise, inside and out. But I have no need for a third row and am happy as can be in my CX-7.

It was a nice car and looks more luxurious but I like the sportiness with a bit of luxury which I think the CX 7 owns! I am adding a charcoal cherry dash kit next week so I will be adding that touch of luxury. Now if i could only get a cool sport paint job....my husband will not let me though!

Lighted vanity mirrors - would be nice but could really care less

Autolocking doors once the vehicle is in motion - agree

Mirrors with turn signals - please, no.

AutoHeadlights that stay on after turning off the vehicle - why? If you want them on after you turn off the vehicle, force them on yourself. It's not something I'd want to have to worry about accidentally leaving on... defeats the purpose of "auto".

Memory seats and mirrors - would be nice

Power Passenger seat - could care less

Dual climate control - sure, not show-stopper for me though

Radio Mute capability and CD pause on Tech model - uh, DUH, yeah. Stupid for any radio, let alone one in a so-called "tech package" to lack these! Don't forget a truly decent random function too!

Locking glove compartment - would be nice

IPOD and Bluetooth - as part of the tech package, DEFINITELY. Again, it's called the "tech package" for cryin' out loud!

non-turbo for people who want fuel efficiency and sluggish driving - sure, why not, but I wouldn't buy one for the same reason I didn't buy the CRV ;)

You can get all those things on the Murano SE but you will pay about 8k more. I had the Murano and I missed some of the lux items at first but I really like the ride of the CX better. Also, nissan makes a cargo organizer that goes in the rear of the cuv that I keep all of my sales/marketing stuff in and it fits pervectly in my CX. If some of you are looking for this type of cargo solution this is a good temp. fix.

Here's a photo from an eBay Seller's store. Looks great. Sells for $132.00 plus shipping.

listen people, i got out of a mitsu eclipse, which was all pimped out, car hauled ass, wipped around turns better than mot sports cars out there, had every option avilable,6,000 in aftermaket upgrades, and never did me wrong. Then i saw the cx-7, feel in love with it, and signed the pappers the day I test drove it. now people are complaining about what the cx-7 does not have? well in my opinion it has everything I'm looking for, it has head turning style, vehicle halls ass, handles excellent( almost as good as my car, which had 1,500 hundo in suspension upgrades,) and better looking interior. I don't have a wife and kids, so I guess this fits me better than a cx-9, which in my opinion it too damn big for me. In my eyes the CX-7 is perfect, and my best purchase of a new car to date.
