Can someone help answer a question about the alternator bracket? When my engine blew, the bracket got hit and broke off a piece of the bracket ... but the alternator is still bolted on just fine. What I'm not sure of is how much of the bracket is gone, and if there was anything important taken off. If not, and it still functions just fine, it'll save me ~ $65! Thanks.
