All I know is that a local bay area MSP owner needs to give me a ride in their MSP. I still haven't been in one. Who would be so kind as to let me ride shotgun...

While we are on the topic, what has everyone's experience been with Mazda dealers in the bay area and particularly Mazda service and mods.

Particularly interested in Silicon Valley area south of San Francisco?

my dealer experience have sucked really bad.
i have been only to two different dealerships, the one in walnut creek and fairfield.
first off the dealership in walnut creek is cloest to were i live and its the worest. the sales people didnt even help me when i was looking into buying a car, its like they didnt even care to sell. second, parts and service is just as bad. they charge way too much for parts and when i order some they even get them in or call me to let me know the stauts

fairfield is were i bought my msp. they sale went pretty smooth and i believe i got a good deal but the parts and service is another issue. i aswell ordered parts from them and they didnt call me to let me know they came in and when i called to check they said they sent the parts back because i didnt come and pick them up. to this day i still have parts on order from july and they dont know what taking so long.
i had the service dept. work on my car to fix the coolent leak and later on that day when i got home i looked under my hood any the tech had forgotten to tighten up my intake piping. it was leaking badly and it was like running with out the filter.
moding wise, i returned everying back to stock form when i took my car in, i always do to prevent any conflict.
i still have yet to find a good and friendly mazda dealership around the bay.

(hump) yea ... girls hella rock. i dont think its a girls car?! girls cars are like.... buggies and stuff. flower power shiz. my car's sexy and manly =P.

jrod, menlo is pretty good and autornd is in touch with their service manager..then again rishie said they were in touch with every service manager.

for sales, menlo was also the place. putnam was also good at it looked like putnam was a very clean place. oak tree/almaden are sleeze.

menlo is where i got mines! theyre cool!... i hate those people at magnussen's in newark. they suck.

diablo subaru / mazda hasn't been stellar for me for either subaru or mazda, but for oil changes and any minor service they ought to be okay...

somebody ask them if they sell touch-up paint there...one of the parts guys told me they didn't sell touch up paint at all there, and this guy has been pretty rude to me in the past (but another guy was totally awesome, your mileage may vary).

I bought mine at Almaden..and had a really good experience. I bought both the P5 and MSP there from the same person, annie.

She was good to work with, but she said she hated it there and was going to the Dodge dealer soon

I've got a P5 rather than an MSP, but was turned off by Menlo Mazda. They really tried to shaft me on trade in value for our old car, and weren't very willing to deal on the P5 price. The Putnam guy I dealt with over the phone seemed nice.

Ended up buying at Val Strough in Oakland, and was rather happy with the experience, except for the paper work processing part.

im sorry but my msp is so dam slow!
its stock and has a leaking intercool pipe but im not sure if this is how its power is suppost to be! its just so dam slow!
hopefully by modifying it is going to help and if it does it better be a lot cause man does it lack the power and for sure it doesn't run low 15's high 14's.

i wanted to ask who thinks they have the fastest msp in the bay area (eastbay)?
anyone want to speak up and prove that its the fastest and the msp have potental?
